Sekeping Serendah

I have been to Sekeping Kong Heng in Ipoh but never blog about it. This time, I am gonna write  about Sekeping Serendah.  Thanks to my sister, YF who wanted to find a place to celebrate her daughter 8th birthday, thus the family gathering.

Warehouse 2

A total of 12 pax (children below 7 stayed for free).  So we paid RM1,500 for a night stay up to total 10 pax at Warehouse 2 that comes with adjoining 2 bedrooms. Additional pax at RM50 per pax up to 14 pax for this unit.

Difference between Warehouse 1 which is slightly cheaper that Warehouse 2 due to smaller size and the 2 bedrooms are separated with different bedding arrangement. Both Warehouses come with 3 bathrooms/toilets.

Warehouse 2, each bedroom comes with 1 queen bed and 3 single beds, just nice for 10 pax.  Additional pax will be provided with sleeping mattress.

Whereas, Warehouse 1, bedroom 1 comes with 2 queen beds and 1 single bed; bedroom 2 comes with 1 queen bed and 3 single beds

Ten types of accommodation here for selection depending on your headcount and preference.
Living room

Lazy to cook, no problem, just order from the caretaker which only cost you RM20 per head/per meal (Nepalese cuisine served with rice for 4 pax or more only).  The kitchen is equipped with a wok, kettle and oven toaster.  Cutleries, plates and cups are provided too.
If you prefer a BBQ night, charcoal, barbeque euipment are provided at no charge.

However, we preferred steamboat instead for our dinner. We were entertained by the kids with their singing performance after dinner.

Everyone has gone to bed early that night since there is no television to entertain you and also the mobile network is quite weak over here.

By the way, mosquito coils and shower gel were provided here. However, do bring mosquito repellent along.

Beds with mosquitoes net

The next morning we had nasi lemak which the caretaker helped us to purchase and sweet red bean soup which we thrown into the slow cooker the night before.  The kids and adults enjoyed themselves with swimming and also brisk walk or jogging around the area.

Stove provided for your cooking here

A good place for an overnight stay away from hustle and bustle of city life.
