Favorite dessert at Caffe Bene

A few outlets that you could find Caffe Bene but the one that I used to go is at Solaris Mont Kiara as I loved Waffle!

Bingsu (Korean shaved ice dessert) is one of their signature item too. Caffe Bene is serving good coffee, Belgian Waffles, Italian Gelator & Natural Fruit Smoothies.

We also ordered Vanilla Latte (R) Cold besides the items below, the bill came out total of RM55.95. Desserts are no longer cheap nowadays.

Pat bingsu is litterally Korean shaved ice with red bean.  I love the Caramel Banana Waffle which was top up with cream cheese, yummy! What a good place to indulge in dessert after your meal.

Best Porridge in KL town - Loa Yau Kee

Loa Yau Kee Porridge has been around for ages, best for smooth porridge.  Their stall is located at intersection of Jalan Tun H S Lee and Jalan Tun Tan Siew Sin.  Accross the road, there is RHB Bank.  No proper place for parking, you may park at the road side besides the shop.  The stall is just outside Soong Kee Beef Noodle shop.

Pork Instestine Porridge RM6, Beef Noodle RM7

Few types of porridge for selection: Pork Instestine, Sliced Raw Fish, Steamed Chicken, Minced Pork Ball.

My favourite is Pork Instestine Porridge and the serving is generous. Try Steamed Chicken, very smooth and yummy.

Do not worry if you do not like porridge, order the famous Soong Kee Beef noodle.

Suggest you go around 5 pm as they will close as early as 7 pm as soon as they sold off the porridge.

Simple Recipe: Fried Spices Chicken (Ayam Goreng Berempah)

A very tasty way to prepare this fried chicken using spices (Ayam Goreng berempah):

Ingredients
25 pcs Chicken pieces
Note: I used 1 whole chicken thigh cut into 4 or 5 pcs
Oil to fry
3 stalk of curry leaves

Ingredients to be pounded
8 cloves of garlic
2 whole big onion
1 inch of ginger
5 stalk of lemongrass

1 big tablespoon of coriander seed (to be fried without oil till brown & grind into powder form)

Note: I have tried using blender instead of manually pound and noticed the latter method tasted better

Ingredients to marinate
Mix all these in a bowl.
1 tablespoon meat curry powder
1 tablesppon chilli powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
3 tablspoon maize flour
1 egg
3 teaspoon of salt (depends on your preference)

Note: For the curry, chilli & turmeric powder, I used Babas brand

Methods:
Clean all the chicken pieces
Add in the pounded ingredients
Add in marinate ingredients
Add in curry leaves.
Leave it for an hour or more.
Then you may fry the chicken

Note: Do not fry too long or the chicken will no longer be juicy

The love story of a teenager

And they called it puppy love....

I felt betrayed over a past relationship, that was how she felt.

We met during our high school in a tuition centre.  We waited till we were ready as we started college, we started our love story.  He was madly in love with me but after months, he ended our relationship.  I was once his world. I did not do anything wrong but maybe he disliked me nagging but all I wanted was for his own good. Reason of him wanted concentrate on his studies which was the priority but why started it.  He was not sure of his direction.  I was devastated, because I loved him and never saw it coming.  It has been torturing and unfair to me as he was busy with his final semester examination and never had time for me. So I waited and waited.

We fought over petty issues and ended our relationship. And he now ignore me totally, not giving me any chance.  It seems he hates me, afraid of seeing me.

From his point of view "We split up because we have misunderstanding and he was tired of the same problems everyday".

I would drove my car passing by his house whenever I miss him. I dare not see him but hope to have a glance from far. I am still trying hard to let go.

I was wondering did he ever mention or think about about me. 😢
